"They behave like the Red Guard movement in China, except wear green caps"

Well they certainly have a "Little Red Book" in the form of a 10 point manifesto that was openly published on their website until it was sanitised just prior the last election.

One of the most stunning to me was their stated aim of dramatically reducing international trade. So how do we get cleaner energy (gas) to developed nations? Oh, that's right they don't approve of gas as a stepping stone from oil/coal. And for goodness sake don't mention the "U" word or champion Th or pebble based reactors.

Same applies to rare earths, Lynas is in their gun sights in more ways than one and simply proves to me that low energy light bulbs, wind generators, EV's & solar panels are not their primary concern.

Why else would they not support Lynas over the heavily polluting Chinese RE industry?
