With the level of commitment by Aussie co's for coal transport infrastructure, from rail, wharfs / terminal / storage, etc, is quite mind-boggling.
Billions of $$, from Nth Qld, to Newcastle. There MAY even be talk of such facilities in Vic, particularly if MNM finally take-off, with their Indian connections.
Here's only one:
"Billionaire Nathan Tinkler proposed building a A$2.5 billion ($2.47 billion) coal export terminal in Newcastle, Australia, to compete with one proposed by Port Waratah Coal Services Ltd...."
Then we have our focus - Mono.
We just need to hook up to the 'road-train' (trucking), or the rail system when in operation, to get our coal to the market giant!
Realise Mono / China / Russia will all take a role, however am confident that the cost and speed at which the later will occur, will be a big challenge for our local miners.
Happy to be a supporter of our over-seas venture.
Also happy to see Aussie job prospects o'seas.
Cheers :)
