Whilst most is similar / rehash to the last Co. update on Board restructure 31.7.15 there is one glaring new addition from what I can see....see if you can spot it (my bold / underlining).....lol....

New Board to oversee the global commercialization of Wavefront’s biometric technology and an Australian and US capital raising for the restructured company.

Sydney, August 18, 2015: Wavefront Biometric Technologies, the world leader in single sensor multi-modal biometric security, announced today the members of a proposed new Board.

The proposed Board restructure is concurrent with the commercialization and capital raising activity for the Company, which is being initiated in both the US and Australia.

Under the proposed restructure three directors of Wavefront, Mr. Patrick Flint, Mr. Paul Jurman and company secretary Mr. Ian Tucker will step down. Current Wavefront Chair, Dr. Shanny Dyer (formerly Corporate GM at CSIRO and Director of two other Eye based Technology companies, Seagull Technologies and Bionic Vision Australia) will be replaced as Chair of the new entity by fellow board member of 8 years standing, Mr. Anthony Bertini, Director of the Australian Copyright Agency, Co-founder and Chairman of Organic Technology Holdings and Australian Omega Oils.  Dr Dyer will maintain the role of Managing Director of the new entity, driving its commercialization strategy with the full support of the new board.

The two new directors Mr. Leigh Clapham and New York based Mr. Steven Ezzes, will join Mr. Bertini and Dr Dyer on the board of the Wavefront entity.

Mr. Clapham has more than 40 years experience in advertising, marketing and financial services including senior positions for MasterCard Worldwide as Group Executive Australia and New Zealand and Group Executive Europe.

New York based Mr Steven Ezzes is currently Managing Director of a US investment advisory group with US$13 billion in assets under management. Steven has a long history with Australian technology companies.  Steven was also previously the USA based director for Ozemail and was instrumental in taking that company to a Nasdaq listing.  Steven was also a member of the board of BMC Media and Tenzing.  He has served in similar positions with U.S. companies.

Announcing the changes Wavefront’s current Chair, Dr. Shanny Dyer, said the proposed new board would be “one of the strongest in the rapidly maturing biometric technology sector in Australia.” Incoming Chairman, Anthony Bertini said, “this is a very strong, hand picked team and will work with and assist Dr Dyer in the commercialization of the technology Wavefront has developed to date and continues to innovate.”

“The new Board will be able to finesse and amplify Wavefront’s strategic direction and entry into new markets particularly in the US and build strong customer relationships with major enterprises in the global defense, banking health and financial services industries.”
