Out of curiosity I had a look at the gov site to have a look at the rates, $1106.00 per couple per fortnight, and $733.00 for a single per fortnight. It doesn't cost any less to heat the home, whether one or two living there, and connection fees re phone etc don't decrease just because someone is now living alone. Less than $400.00 per week wouldn't go very far just to pay for all the bills and food, never mind anything else.
Have they increased the rates and not updated the site ?
