After several years with no electricity to pay for my home because it was covered by my solar panels rebate the last couple of years have seen me get a bill to pay as electricity charges increase each July 1 due to largely the supply charge fee increases and no changes in rebates except for the government handout each year. It's the bill to our homes that count not changes in wholesale prices. State governments need to justify price increases other than blaming inflation as the reason for the increases. Perhaps the rebate needs to be increased by the inflation rate to balance the price increases.
