True Sector, there were a few interesting characters back then, I was a bit of a doomer, but I also bought and held property as a hedge against irrational buying of property in Australia. Luckily I did and still hold(mostly because I hate CGT). That being said I still think property in Australia is going to have some major challenges(primarily driven by rising rates and the potential fallout. I would consider being a buyer again from july 2023, but have to factor in land tax and resulting impact on returns vs other asset classes like fully franked shares etc...
