yep, it would stop the WA economy, those who borrowed and lost their jobs would be pretty upset. NT and TAS are starting to export iron ore, and SA has a huge magnetite ore waiting to be developed worth billions !!!
China could potentially take us to the WTO and would probably win.
we also stand to lose out billions in tax revenue and royalties !
