As much as the idea sounds nice, I don't think any other companies would be willing to take on a bit of development project. I think DGR did that to an extent, but that's their business model. Makes it a bit harder as well since they have 22% of the company.
In regards to a bigger mining company, I wouldn't think they'd want to throw coin at something that is 99% potential 1% deliverables right now.
I'm not plugged in at all, but doesn't really feel like an expansionist attitude is permeating the mining bigs right now
