The cannabis saga over the years introduced another range of operators.
Public listed companies with a "story"
The perfect storm. Many entrepreneurs/insider traders made millions on the hype.
It attracted those with "greed" being the operative motive. Business ethics were of no consequence, it was about making money. Companies were created with individuals ill-equipped to be operating public listed companies.
Investors/gamblers/latecomers all became part of the mix.
Then the collapse.
........it is still one of the biggest businesses in the world for illegal growers, drug lords, distributors, users, and touts.
The result - destroyed lives, billions of dollars worldwide inflicted on damage to the medical industry and its people, same with law enforcement and millions of humans living a life of illusion.
The product does have medical applications for human life.
What the cannabis industry lacks is leadership.
There is no model - the industry is like a cork on ocean - directionless. Governments/Medical Organisations/Entrepreneurs/Individuals
If AC8 does another "deal" it will finish up in the same cycle.
It requires a new business model which has a board and management with a business plan and integrity aligning with an alternative industry would be the only hope of shareholders accessing any value.
I do not see that happening.
