If no-one offers DMA for futures, what do people use to trade the XJO?

I actually traded the CMC Aussie 200 today long in the am and short in the pm and made some both ways - but I sure didn't like the spread and the delay (and feeling they are working you over) when you try to execute.

If you watch it you get a feel for what they are doing, but if the market moved strongly I reckon you could wait a long time before they would get you out. It only seems safe if you get on the back of a solid trend and have room to move when you want to exit.
