My idea is to reduce the excise (tax) on oil and petrol.
Rising price of fuel is one of the main resons of inflation.
They are going to have humongus surplus anyway and do not need all that revenue they getting from taxes and exise.
It would help all those strugling mortgage stressed commuters and reduce cost of just about everything else if the industry passed the savings on instead of putting them in their pockets and calling them profit.
