Not sure what judges do about it, but why is it so prevalent on Australia Day? Don't blame judges. Blame the politicians and shock jocks whose intolerance and dog whistling caused this stuff in the first instance.

The simple reason is because Australia Day, since the Cronulla riots, has become a flag waving day of provocation for the IQ challenged bogans who feel that they have a licence to behave like the intolerant thugs that they are on that day.

Change the date, and add a symbol of recognition of our indigenous people and tolerance, and the thugs won't even want to own the flag. Problem fixed.
