The thing that I find completely amazing about this situation is this. We are a vast country with vast and still untapped mineral wealth. We have a tiny population. Now, on the face of it, you'd have to think that we'd be sailing along with an ever increasing standard of living. But no.
For decades, Liberal governments and their like minded supporters have relentlessly attacked the pay and working conditions of average Australians. These clowns, in their desire to supporrt small business, have deprived the people of their discretionary income. The very people who buy directly from those small businesses.
These boneheaded LNP governments can't seem to get it through their heads. Their ideological hatred of average working class Australians is detrimental to our economy as a whole. Do they not understand how wealth is created? Is it really necessary to keep attacking those with the least? According to Liberal philosophy and that of its numbskull supporters, yes!! To what end?
The LNP have driven this country into the ground. They argue like hell against a rise in the minimum wage and in the next breath they bemoan the lower than expected tax receipts. Single pensioners are suffering malnutrition and freezing in the dark while our government bumbles along on its merry way.
And to top it all off, Josh Frydenburg bemoans our drop in productivity. These fools could make a grown man weep for a once proud and egalitarian country.
