Jan, look at it in simple terms:
Ce is 50% of production.
If no Ce sold CoP per kg DOUBLES for the other 50% of saleable production.
Countless permutations but every kg of Ce reporting to inventory doubles the CoP for another kg of saleable REO i.e. $30kg production costs for Nd/Pr, etc. And it gets worse if you consider roughly another 25% for La at breakeven, 75% of CoP gets transferred onto the remaining 25% of production, i.e. $45kg.
Placing Ce, even just to recover a portion of costs, is the biggest problem facing Lynas, most particularly in ramping Ph2.
