Northern NSW is very dry. The rain stopped new years day 2011, and been dry ever since. Some areas have only got 6 inches for the year.
Yields could still be OK if it rained tomorrow, but declines would be inevitable soon. Probably too late now for a massive crop, and if no rain soon, could be very small.
My wheat looks OK still. It's into sorghum stubble harvested in March. It's had about half an inch total since planted in June and is growing on stored soil water.
