    We got 20 mills here overnight and hopefully we will get a bit more yet. That should be just enough to join the soil water profiles up and get decent secondary roots established. I should grow a few tonnes per hectare now even if it doesn't rain again, and no reason why I couldn't grow a big crop given normal rainfall for the rest of the season.

    Central NSW cropping areas received over the inch, and up to 2 inches. That would be perfect for them.

    Rain fizled out up north of here. Only half an inch or less, so may not do much good.

    Looks like stuff all in QLD.

    It was a very typical winter rainfall event and worth a lot of money to those who got enough.
