Its a sad day indeed.Not just for them but also for Australian politics.The greens maybe the winners this time around but it just goes to show how fickle the voting public can be and how precarious politics is.
We need more varied voices in parliament not less.I wonder if the dems lost it when they elected Despoja,or did she just draw the short straw.
Did their move to appeal to the younger voter backfire.Should they have elected an older head to appeal to the more politicaly minded elder generation.
