Nuheara’s hardware and software is being built in partnership with Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia. The university has a strong background in the research, development and testing of advanced audio digital signal processing technologies. Nuheara funds post-doctoral researchers at the University, who specialise in digital signal processing and augmented hearing.

Professors Sven Nordholm and Kevin Fynn from Curtin University of Technology are part of the management and development team. Nuheara will retain 100 percent ownership of all IP developed as result of the partnership with the university.
