    Shimmer, this is an extract from just above what you quoted from 29/12/14 ann:

    '...........gold mineralisation (>1g/t Au) is associated with locally increased abundance of sulphide mineralisation (predominantly pyrite) and elevated values of indicator trace elements Ag, As, Cu, Mo and Te.'

    Now, the presence of silver, arsenic, copper, molybdenum and tellurium has me intrigued. What's going on here?

    You'd expect to find them in VHMS territory in the nearby Bryah basin/Naracoota. Their presence may not be unusual in the archaean but I don't know enough to say anything one way or the other. However, given WW's reference to the Bryah and the Narracoota as above in my post I wonder if that is the causation.

    It's all very interesting!!
