It really depends what happens around the world, and things look grim in many places including America.
If more and bigger wars commence and terrorists hit the US again, the A$ could rise strongly as other currencies fall because we will be seen as a relatively safe haven.
Gold is continuing to rise and Australia is a big gold producer so that will lift our currency.
I expect the A$ to keep rising in the short term, but I don't have a crystal ball to see longer term.
