Don't get me wrong I am a supporter of GM technology but I am a bigger supporter of clear and strict labelling. Give the farmer the choice and also the consumer.
The book "Seeds of Deception" was written by the most fraugalent person I have ever met, yes I have met him and heard him speak. The International scientific community thinks the same. Bogus Greenpeace funded trials which are never peer reviewed. This man makes alot of money by scaring people.
The Western Australian community has spoken on GM. Labour did its best to scare the public in a discraful campaingn full of lies and deception on GM canola. The clear intent was to scare the public, it did not work and this is why GM canola will be part of the landscape in the wheatbelt of WA in o9.
We eat GM everyday, Soyabeans are 90% GM as is Corn. Bread biscuits, cheese and many other processed foods are made with gm grains. Our fish and chips are fyyed in GM cotton oil, have been for 12 years.
If want to be truly GM free we must take insulin from diabetics.
This is a wonderful, safe regulated technology which will benifit mankind in so many ways. It took pasturised milk 14 years to be excepted its taken GM about the same.
