acceleration will increase dramatically at a guess - that'll save a lot of time. Also - if it works out that well - trucks will become purpose built - and, lost huge weight of drive trains etc. -- meaning that weight can be replaced with freight - more profit - same cost.
cars are different to semi's -------- cars do tiny runs mostly - very tiny - no need for swap outs - just plug in once a week or two weeks - but, semis - many do the bigger runs - different task, different locations, different gig entirely.
if they get this down pat - it could go to daily ferries, cargo boats - smaller ones etc etc. - transport costs will plummet if you can make the tech suit your particular business.
and, if one can dump the entire drive train in the ditch - imagine how the down time will also plummet - not only from breakdowns - but, servicing
