Moves based on macro-economics such as is happening to the Euro are usually long lasting.Flight to safer assets will inevitably benefit gold bugs but particularly stocks held in currencies that are themselves seen as risky imo.
I am not a gold bug myself normally but right now see this as THE place to be.
