Many thanks acturtle, have been too busy lately and have not had a decent look at the quarterlies from producers. A 30% rise in opex cost againsta flat commodity price in A$ will not help the gold producers-their overall profitability was nothing to write home about before then anyway (with one or two exceptions). Reduced exposure to the sector middle of last year when share[rices stopped reacting to what I considered positive news. (Still like NCM for rerating and ADU for takeover potential-guess that that applies to them both?) Continue to invest in petroleum and base metal sectors. As to gold, happy to have it as a bi-product to copper production!!!LOL
