    Hi Jack, yes it would.

    However, dumb-ass aussie institutions only follow the USD gold price, meaning the $A gold price and AUD exchange rate are irrelevant. If the institutions had any clue, ASX gold stocks would now be at their highs for the year instead of at their lows.
