It's a different world now, with virtually no-labour-cost automated factories in China and Mexico providing input to supply chains which can move goods across the world for less than Australia Post can send something from Perth to Cairns. Result is eCommerce where goods costing <$10 can be ordered including freight from China for less than it costs you to run down yo the mall, pay $20 for same item.

Go into Australia Post shop and what do you see? Junk on sale and twice as many staff as needed for the business being conducted. All very nice people, but not adding as much value as they cost.

It is best to accept this and adapt rather than expect others to go without so you can have a $21/HR job that you were paid the dole while you waited for it to appear.

Look at what you can get for $10 now and you may realise you are better off.
