so the article essentially says that because Aus has nothing else, we will all be encouraged to take on more debt to purchase a house and this cycle will go on an on? I tend to think its a very blinkered way to look at it

I suspect the writer hasn't actually considered that it surely gets to a point where people either cannot afford the debt or are just not willing to take it on
