You are quite mistaken , the general public would view his opinion on property as being quite ordinary. The majority of Australians are proud homeowners with some backbone who don't stress out every day about their home prices but take a long term view, long term , not a 10 sec small speccie view. Rather buy a house and see it appreciate over 10 -15 years than be a basket case stressing about the daily fluctuations of speculative shares.
