Even a dodgy index wont lie any more. The Australian public has been lied to for years about how immigration will increase per capita prosperity. It will do the opposite. Now the only course is to point out people worse off in other parts of the world and say "So why do you b******* think you deserve better?". I can only hope that a railway embankment used as toilet by Delhi's poor never becomes a model for Australia's public conveniences.
