Buying pressure from the Orient is only one factor in the current up trend. Don't forget metals prices, ongoing and expanding US invasions, the Chinese and North Korean arms race, the risk of recession in Austalia (now quite high according to Twiggs) and of course the changes that occur with new governments (Howard and Bush likely to be ousted).
