In the last year I have finished a 5 year stint in the mining industry.Got paid ok but the pressure slowly increased to the stage where I was doing 70-80 hours a week working in admin.I was actually located in a city that supplied out to the mining industry all over Australia.Had enough and got out.There is good money to be made in the mining industry but you need to get in and save your money.I have worked in a number of different industries and unfortunately Australia is relying too much on mining.
