At the end of the day whether your wealth is generated through property or some other asset classes or a combination the whole purpose is just to provide you with financial freedom to do whatever you want (within reason). Whether that is early retirement or holidays etc. Also it should not be forgotten that building up your portfolio can itself provide you with a great sense of achievement and enjoyment.
