    Again another greenie idealism that just isn't practical in the real world. I guess when the Roman empire rose to power they had an open book on the strategies they were about to employ on their enemies. Hmm somehow think there may have not been such a successful empire if the case.

    Yes an over the top example but you get the jist. Some things do not belong in the 'taxpayers' hands. We pay for governments to protect us, we don't need to know the details, just judge the result. NBN or Afghanistan? It certainly does matter what the issue is as to what we should be priveleged to read.
