Would tend to agree with your thoughts. The Christian Church in all Western Countries have become less relevant in the last 40 years or so and this has led to widespread moral decay.
The Churches must become more relevent - and badly need to get off the fence they have been sitting on for years - through their neglect of their constituent congregations, they have allowed non homogenous religious cults to become more relevant and dominant - to the detriment of the the societies from which Christianity evolved.
Some European peoples are starting to connect the dots and are voting accordingly - this is the only path to erasing the pervassive effect of hard left socialism or religious cults which should have no place in Europe - or indeed any democratic Judeo Christian society.
