Maybe if players spend more time polishing their skills in the paddock instead of pumping iron in the gym, the game would be more exciting to watch.

The reason why the skill level appears poor is because there are too many teams and not enough telent going around. I hate to imagine the talent once they establish 2 additional tems. Back in the 80's, there were only 12 teams, so unless you were skillful, you wouldnt get a game. Now, anyone with a bit of muscle and athletism can get a game.
