Visually - A great game, a great spectacle, fast furious, tough, great skills
Audio - 3rd Grade, over commentated, treat the public like fools, over state the obvious, they are elite players and athletes but you dont have to tell the public every 2 minutes that such and such is a 5 time all Australian, 6 time best and fairest, 7th on the all time goal kicking list etc etc - just commentate the game!
"He is the sixth most intercept player in the AFL" - who cares, just commentate the game
"Good football, Great football" - let the viewers determine that
be imaginative, allow the public to make up their own minds from the vision
You dont have to determine whether the umpire is right or wrong, we can actually see it on the TV, just commentate the game.
For me its audio off as it just litters what is a great visual sport.
