    haha, of course a strong dollar is a good thing, unfortunately with the political/media machine nowadays people have actually had it drummed into their heads that strong currencies mean zippo exports. When in actually fact its the dismantling of the manufacturing sector, that created finished products, thats the cause of the real problems. Strong currencies with strong exports historically were completely normal (think germany, US and Japan of days gone by), shame everyone has forgotten that.

    Whats important is having a stable currency by not printing excessively or not at all (which in the modern world has been forgotten). Everyone is printing money like crazy, so what solution do they offer! 'lets print more to avoid a strong currency'. Talk about a race to the bottom.
