I am very aware GST is a federally raised tax that is returned to the states.
And there is a very reason it is a federally raised tax
BECAUSE IT IS A FEDERAL TAX. something Elder clearly does not understand
The revenue raised by the GST is returned to the states through the Inter Governmental Agreement, an agreement that is completely seperate from the Federal GST Legislation
