All the Liverpool Plains is good. Hasn't been a check yet, so 6 t/h possible. The northern plains, to Moree, is very variable. Basically, further east and south the better. There may be some good crops on fallow country east of the highway. Western areas are bad. Also far northern areas. Up near Goodiwindi, it's no good. I was up that way a few weeks ago and the crops were hadit then.
I'm doing a farm tour through the area in 3 and a half weeks so I'll tell ya what it will all go.
Summer crop could be great. I've had 500 mills for the year and profils are full. So that's about 250 mills stored water. Similar to the wheat story. Further north and west, the less rain, so the less stored moisture. South and east and Liverpool Plains it's all good. This is talking about dryland though. The dams are all empty, so irrigation will be a non event.
It's a shame about how Australias crop is looking. Could have got a lot of people out of trouble with one big crop, and it was looking big a month ago, but all turned pear shaped
