There have been major crops failures across New South Wales as the drought again takes hold across most of the central and southern parts of the state.
Some crops have died and a large number of producers in the western part of the cropping belt are letting livestock onto others.
The Department of Primary Industries' Frank McRea says much of the New South Wales crop is at crisis point with failure less than 10 days away.
