LNC tends to have some leaky boat. The previous 2 x ann regarding Cedar Point - where SP rose 2 days prior to ann. Today's drop may be related to the result or perhaps the quarterly result is not as good.

Why would someone sell this if the good news is just around the corner, likely early next week?

If the result did come in good, I expect we should see a gap open at top then reversal throughout the day as shorters intensify the selling. Buy/Sell ratio is pretty obvious now.

I miss the short sell today when it broke the channel at $1.77. Better luck next time.

LNC tends to open higher on Mon (after weekend when ppl has time to re-strategise), so I'm preparing my powder dry for a short on Mon. Selling was intense yesterday and today, someone is capping this down, for whatever the reason.
