Director12, until we, the public, get off our arses, show some backbone and organise collective pressure for laws with teeth to ban all political donations, politicians will work for their major donors rather than the long term future of Australia.
So while I mainly agree with what you say, I don't totally agree with the idea that the people are fully happy with the way the country is going. Most are also lazy when it comes to politics and blame everything on politicians!
