    1000 year mine life means nothing... full stop!

    it's all about NPV to give a mine it's go ahead. NPV today.

    discounting the cash flows from year 112 back to today will be worthless... let alone from year 912...

    i wish people would stop banging on about this 1000 year rubbish.
    in my opinion management used it as a way of saying "yeah, we have a lot of the stuff"... but it's now taken on this ridiculous 1000 year mine life-ism...

    just my opinion.
