According to the article below our RBA President has cited growing inequality in Australia, apparently prompting Scott Morrison's Office to 'qualify' politically self=-serving remarks he made earlier this week:

"RBA governor says inequality getting worse, contradicting Scott Morrison ..."
"... Speaking at an event supporting the Anika Foundation, he said the gap between rich and poor has widened in recent years, but made the distinction between "wealth" and "income" inequality.
"Wealth inequality has become more pronounced particularly in the last five or six years because there's been big gains in asset prices," he said.
"So the people who own assets, which tend to be wealthy people, have seen their wealth go up."

As if widening inequality isn't bad enough; it follows AHRC Gillian Triggs' damning comments about the manner in which Australia has deserted the humane treatment of people ranging from asylum seekers to Aborigines and the LGBTI community:

"Gillian Triggs: Australian government 'ideologically opposed to human rights"

So where our political leaders and what are those appointed and being paid to protect us against such creeping fascism doing about it?
