The reference to solar panels is not relevant, in Australia you can essentially get them free if you meet the criteria, I think it’s combined income under 200k and a property worth less than 3 mill, both federal and state governments subsidise the system then finance the remainder with no interest and add it to your bill, every one of my customers has done it and have no interest in anything but a freebie. They have even less interest in EVs.
