Aust brokers Goldman & Macquarie say SELL, page-21

Take a look at the MSB website and the company structure. It's all there and logic tells me they have insulated against hostile takeover.

Early on I looked at this as I'm personally fed up with Australian companies developing incredible innovations, only to lose at the commercialisation stage due to lack of funds, and being bought out for a fraction of their value by predators. You can bet that's why Ilescu went down the partnership path and the much maligned (by some in here) International Biotech Licensing Deal of the Year with Teva/Cephalon. This is nearing maturity.

I don't have a strong view on US registration. But I point out that if they can finance this through private partnership deals, why go to the market to raise equity? The market stinks right now, and it has stunk very badly in Australia due to lack of understanding and antics of shorters etc. as covered in the AFR article.

I've written at length on this topic, to attempt counter the avalanche of rubbish that gets posted, with claims that the market is all seeing and all knowing and reflects true value....AS IF!!! The scale and volume of this stuff has been a daily challenge. Some have claimed I don't post enough quality, but I'm not a full time analyst, nor in the biotech world but I write what I think is logical and redress a gap. Others are welcome to fill gaps as they see them.

2 years isn't necessarily going to be the relevant waiting period for serious SP action. MSB is exciting if it can keep looking like it will break through with accelerated developments, and the market finally starts to wake up, I guess US listing it's possible for financing later stages. Obviously NASDAQ listing is very difficult to satisfy and OTC backed by good publicity is an option. When this one blows it will move very rapidly indeed.
