Shares i White Vanyon Urnim soared after the company annouced the start of production at its Daneros uranium mine in Utah this week. White Canyon is now one of the fewndependent uranium producers listed on the ASX, joining the likes of Paladin Energy. It is scheduled to deliver its first ore from Daneros to Denison Mines nearby White Mesa mill this month or pocessing. Managing director Peter Batten expexts this initial processing arrangement with Denson to lead to a longer term agreement as it will give White Canyon an understnding of the Denison ore. The permit for aneros, which was issued in May, is the first for a uranium min in Utah in almost 30 years. White Canyon has lodged a draft lising application wit the Toronto Stock Exchange.
