It starts tomorrow in Melbourne, 2 courses for 2 days then after the cut, only 1 course. i don't like thia format. However, combining 3 comps - men, women and all abilities - again- imo, emasculates all 3. I went to the event at Kingston Heath and Victoria Golf Club, Melbourne, 2 years ago and became annoyed. Why? I went to watch the men (no sexual inclination, just that they are more exciting) but had to wait for the alternating women's groups to fit in. It became tedious and boring. Never again!! Ok, are they saving money by combining the 3? I expect so, but it has destroyed 3 good comps imo. I just hope that those in charge never amalgamate them again. I love the men's comp, been to many, but no more for me if they continue with this program.
