Well so if we cant build ships perfectly the first time we should just give up and never try again and just send all the money off shore.
We know how all the overruns in offshore military equipment go. This is the problem with Australia there is bugger all manufacturing because business can get it done cheaper overseas by exploiting the poor industrial protection for workers.

3 They are currently 100,000,000 over budget at the moment and by 2018 they will be several billion at least.
You talk about buying from other countries and this is the result of buying from the U.S.
For 15 billion we could have so much more Top flight ready to go military equipment. Let the bloody U.S. play with its own money.
