That is a very naive comment. The US establishment does not have friends, it has corporate connections and when those connections dont produce what the US wants it creates havoc in that countries markets and starts the usual crap. With the US it is never one military base they will take over far more than that. They already have the N.T. government in their pockets. They recently threatened us with sanctions, they are currently undercutting our beef trade and have taken some away from us intentionaly. I dont think you are old enough to have lived through some of these events with the US, if you had you would think differently.
It wont stop with 1500 troops and a Naval base in the N.T. it will spread just like the other countries the US goes into. This is going to destroy trade with our biggest trading partner. Will this government bring back the draft when a war starts in Asia. Are you at the right age for the draft because next time they will be taking people up to about 35 as our population dynamics have changed. When this happens you will be sorry because the US cant replace China as a trading partner our dollar is far too weak for that.
